Oracle today announced the acquisition of Tekeles

Oracle today announced the acquisition of Tekeles, manufacturing software and online services to support mobile broadband services.

The portfolio acquired company has solutions for the control of broadband data in wired or wireless networks.

In Oracle said that the new acquisition will allow the company to obtain the solution to get more control over the data in the network and to better manage the information flow between servers, storage systems and users.

It should be noted that the recent takeover was for Oracle is already the second in the last two weeks. March 15 was known to buy the company Nimbula.

Also, it is worth recalling that the Oracle purchase of telecom vendor Tekelec was the second year since the beginning of the acquisition-related telecommunications. In early February, for $ 1.7 billion had bought a company Acme Packet.
